Mrs Phillippa Woods AIDTA , BA hons


Phillippa trained at Pond-Grainger Performing Arts and whilst at this school were given the great opportunity of dancing at the London Palladium, Royal Albert Hall, Her Majesty’s Theatre, London, Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, New Victoria Theatre, Woking and Disneyland Paris. They have performed in the Touring and London Productions of Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, and have participated in many Festivals and have gained a place at the All England Semi Finals.

Phillippa took her majors at Ripley Dance Academy, and went on to study her ISTD teaching qualifications in Tap & Modern at The Linda Sweetzer teacher Training college and her IDTA teaching qualification at Encore theatre arts.she also studied for a BA(Hons) degree in Dance at Chichester University. Phillippa had taught for various schools since 1995 until finally coming to teach for Encore Theatre Arts, Chertsey in 2007 and then becoming principle of Encore Theatre Arts in 2012. Phillippa is also a trained Aerial Silks Acrobat. Phillippa is married to Des and has a daughter Dakota.



Miss Rebecca Sandall ISTD DDE PcertLAM BSc (hons)


Rebecca has been dancing and singing from an early age and has studied at The Arts Educational School, The Valerie School of Dancing, Songtime Theatre Arts and The Linda Sweetzer Dance Teacher College (where she has studied ISTD Tap, Modern and Imperial Classical Ballet teaching). She has many years of performance experience in dance, drama and musical theatre and is a regular choreographer and guest teacher at other schools. She is a qualified and registered ISTD dance teacher and LAMDA speech and drama teacher.


Emma Smith - Street Dance Teacher

Emma Jane Smith trained at Julie Sianne Theatre Arts from the age of 14-18. She then continued to further her training by attending Performers College - Essex where she achieved a Level 6 Diploma in Theatre Dance. Since graduating in 2015 Emma’s professional dance credits include New Jersey Nights UK/Monte Carlo Tour - Spirit Productions, P&O Australia Cruises - Grayboy Entertainment, Winter Wonderland US Tour - Spirit Productions, Thriller Live - West End, Bodyguard Das Musical - Vienna as well as a variety of TV work. 

Alongside her professional dance career Emma has a passion for teaching, technical jazz, street dance/commercial and musical theatre to pass on her knowledge and passion for the Performing industry.

Rosie Barron - RAD Ballet Teacher

Rosie started dancing at an early age and trained at Julie Sianne Theatre Arts in a variety of styles including ballet, modern, jazz and contemporary. Rosie has achieved her RAD Advanced 2 ballet and ISTD Advanced 1 modern to high standard. 

Rosie is now in her second year of study for a BA Hons Ballet Education degree at the Royal Academy of Dance, having achieved a First in her first year.  Alongside the teaching degree, she is also in the second year of training for Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Dance.

Rosie has always had a passion for dance and has successfully competed in the finals of the All England Dance competition serval times. She is now looking forward to passing on her passion to other aspiring dancers during her teaching career.

Nicole Reeves


Nicole Reeves trained at Julie Sianne Theatre Arts where she completed her advanced RAD ballet, ISTD modern and tap exams at a high level. She also has completed all of IDTA street dance examinations including her professional award. Although passionate about all genres of dance Nicole has a particularly strong love for street, commercial and jazz influenced styles. She is currently in her second year of training at Doreen Bird College, which is a three year vocational course where she will receive her BA Hons in Dance and Musical Theatre at the end of her three years.
As well as teaching Nicole has been lucky enough to have performed in Billy Elliot the musical in London's West End as a ballet girl for a year from the ages 13-14. She was also apart of the juvenile chorus at Woking Pantomime for two years in a row. Nicole has also had the opportunity to compete at the Street Dance World Championships reaching the finals. Although in the future Nicole would love to perform more and extend her professional career further in the industry, teaching and choreography play a big part in her future as she loves to share and pass on her passion with others.
