Welcome to Encore Theatre Arts
Encore Theatre Arts dance and drama school was started in January 2006 and is based in Chertsey, Surrey offering classes in ISTD Modern and Tap, IDTA Ballet, Jazz, Street Dance, Musical Theatre (including LAMDA Examinations), Acrobatics and aerial. There are dance classes available for the very young - aged 2 1/2 years right up to adults, so whether you are just starting out, keen to improve, or want the best possible training to help gain entry to dance colleges or drama colleges we have classes to suit you.
The School has successfully organised many public events and raised thousands of pounds for various charities. There are many dance classes available to help improve motor skills, co-ordination and above all to have fun. We wish the spirit of the School to be well disciplined and professional with a happy and friendly atmosphere at all times which inspires pupils to enjoy themselves and fulfil their individual potential.
Examinations are taken in ISTD (Imperial Society for Teachers of Dancing) and IDTA (International Dance Teachers Association) in various disiplines. Pupils are also invited to take part in our annual Choreography Competition and our school show usually held at the Rhoda McGaw Theatre, Woking.
